I
feel that my art develops in concentric circles; the
tiniest detail from one finished piece, will conjure
many ideas and studies for other pieces following
it.
Since I was a little kid, I was always had a keen
interest in art, one of my famous quotes to describe
this phase is “… was always scribbling on the walls
at home, so practically everyone gave me all the
rough papers they could find…”
It is very difficult at times to describe my art as
paintings, drawings, sculptures, photography and
inventions procure a strong inner feeling. This
feeling is mostly converted in the figurative with a
mixture of light against dark and brilliant pastel
hues.
Most of the time my art can be associated with
dreams: dreams can be so vivid that the only way to
describe them is by drawing. No real form, either in
the real world or in nature, will describe those
same strong feelings as one gets in the dreams. I
associate these dreams and visions to the scream of
a tortured soul, the bright yet dark colours most of
the time are those of the livid hues of the near
dead and the touch, to the smoothest flow of blood.
Death, desolation, abandonment, illnesses and
diseases, all lead to the frail human condition, to
alienation, evolution and humanity.
